Dakar Application Procedure and Deadlines

The following items must be submitted to the Director of the program prior to the application deadline of October 1.

Students may either apply online or download the .pdf forms below:

  1. A completed Wells College Program in Dakar application form (see link below to download application forms or to apply online), with a photo
  2. College Permission Form signed by the Academic Dean or appropriate officer at the student's home institution indicating that the student is in good standing and has official permission to participate in the Wells College Program in Dakar
  3. Statement of Purpose describing how this program would benefit the student's education and how it fits into his/her general course of studies
  4. Official copy of the student's college or university transcript
  5. Two letters of recommendation, one preferably from a French instructor
  6. Housing Form
  7. Application fee of $50 payable to Wells College
